Dr Zita Odome Angone
Devant un parterre d'Hommes de lettres et un panel de journalistes, Zita Odome Angone a organisé récemment un entretien littéraire dans un hôtel de la place. Occasion pour notre compatriote de présenter son dernier livre. A la suite de la sortie, en 2013, de son premier ouvrage intitulé, "Roi du coupé".

C'est le 25 novembre dernier que Zita Odome Angone a publié à Paris, son second livre, Femme noire francophone. C'était dans le cadre du Centenaire des indépendances africaines. Un livre dont le contenu est une déclaration de politique générale, comme elle l'explique : « Femme noire francophone est un livre politique, parce qu'il questionne sur ce que c'est d'être femme associée à la couleur de la peau noire, qui n'est rien d'autre qu'une construction socio-historique, liée notamment à l'esclavage et à la colonisation. Mais aussi, comment ces femmes noires se construisent dans l'espace s'expriment en français ». Précisément en Afrique subsaharienne.
Dans son propos, l’écrivaine ajoute qu'il était temps, à l'occasion de ce centenaire, de commettre un ouvrage qui est une réflexion, une refonte et une reformulation de ce que c'est être femme à nos jours. « Mon livre parle essentiellement du patriarcat et du racisme au 20e et 21e siècle, à travers une série d'expériences des femmes vivant dans la société contemporaine, lesquelles se posent des questions et osent bousculer des codes culturels et traditionnels », précise-t-elle.
Dans sa réflexion, Zita Odome Angone développe le fait que la femme entant qu'être humain, sujet qui se développe au sein d'une société, n'a pas qu'un seul modèle. « Nous sommes autant de femmes que de modèles possibles », explique-t-elle. Ajoutant que toutes les femmes ne se ressemblent pas et pourtant elles sont toutes les femmes. Et que c'est cette diversité qu'elle veut promouvoir. C’est pourquoi la société doit comprendre qu’aujourd’hui on n’a pas besoin d'avoir plusieurs modèles de femmes. Car, elles ne sont pas uniformes. C'est plutôt la diversité qui nous enrichit.
Retenons que notre compatriote, Zita Odome Angone est docteure en philosophie-espagnole et écrivaine. Enseignante à l'université Cheick Anta Diop de Dakar (Sénégal) elle est également membre du Comité scientifique de la Fédération FA pour la culture et le leadership. Ses travaux portent sur les identités frontières, les nouveaux formats de l'habitat contemporain et les espaces sans lieux.
