A l’occasion de leur rentrée politique, les cadres, militants et sympathisants du parti pour le développement et la solidarité sociale (PDS) se sont réunis le week-end écoulé à leur siège de Montagne sainte à Libreville. Cette rencontre solennelle a été également l’occasion pour les militants du PDS de présenter les vœux de nouvel an à leur président, Séraphin Ndaot Rembogo.
En plus des présentations de vœux, les militants ont fait le bilan de leur formation politique. De la période électorale à celle de la transition en cours en passant par les évènements du 30 aout ayant conduit à l’arrivée des militaires au pouvoir. Le tout sur une note satisfaisante, preuve de la bonne santé du parti de Séraphin Ndaot Rembogo. En tenant compte de leur prestation aux dernières élections, le PDS s’est satisfait des résultats dans certaines localités telles que dans le Woleu-Ntem, ou cette formation politique aurait eu plusieurs élus si les résultats n’avaient pas été annulés par le CTRI.
A propos des événements du 30 aout dernier, par la voix du secrétaire général, Jean-De-Dieu Yembi Mangala, le PDS salue le professionnaliste et le patriotisme des membres du comité de transition pour la restauration des institutions (CTRI) pour le coup de force perpétré sans effusion de sang. Tout en félicitant le président de la transition, pour les initiatives prises en faveur des gabonais, le PDS a indiqué apporter tout son soutien au CTRI pour une réussite manifeste de la transition.
Pour sa part, Seraphin Ndaot Rembogo a affirmé la volonté du parti à œuvrer pour le bien des gabonais. Une volonté encadrée par les idéaux de cette formation politique qui d’ailleurs na cessé d’apporter son soutien aux couches sociales les plus défavorisées. C’est dans ce sens que le leader du PDS attend prendre part au dialogue national prévu se tenir dans deux mois. « Le PDS va proposer au cours du dialogue qu’il y ait une allocation spécifique qui soit allouée temporairement aux chômeurs, nous avons les moyens pour le faire. », a-t-il fait savoir.
