C’est au sortir de la réunion portant sur l’évaluation d'étape des "ressources humaines et Moyens roulants" organisée avec les directeurs des 10 Régions sanitaires du pays que le ministre de la Santé a donné cet ultimatum aux agents de la santé recrutés et mis en solde mais qui n’ont toujours pas regagné leurs postes d’affectation. Le Pr Adrien Mougougou donne à ces derniers 48 heures pour faire acte de présence.
Le membre du gouvernement a précisé que les agents concernés sont des médecins, des infirmiers d'État polyvalents, des sages-femmes et des techniciens de santé, notamment ceux récemment recrutés et dont la mise en salaire est effective. Dans le cas contraire, le ministre de Santé menace rétrocéder ces postes budgétaires aux compatriotes désireux de servir le pays : « la loi donne 15 jours à tout agent public pour rejoindre son poste d'affectation, passé ce délai, il s'expose à des sanctions. Je dis clairement que les agents dans cette situation ont 48h pour regagner leurs lieux d'affectation, sans quoi, le ministère de la Santé va reprendre ses postes budgétaires pour les rétrocéder à tous ces compatriotes qui choisissent de sauver des vies dans toutes nos localités", a-t-il prévenu.
Au sortir de la même réunion, le membre du gouvernement a, une nouvelle fois, fustigé les pratiques déviantes dans les hôpitaux, notamment la perception des sommes d'argent pour servir les usagers, ainsi que la vente des médicaments et des carnets de vaccination déjà cachetés. « La place de tous les agents qui font perdurer ces agissements est en prison et je demande à tous les directeurs régionaux de santé d'y veiller », a conclu le ministre de la Santé.
Cette réunion a, en outre permis aux directeurs régionaux de santé de faire le point au membre du gouvernement des moyens roulants actuellement à disposition. Sur ce point les directeurs régionaux ont manifesté l’urgence de renforcer les équipes des véhicules (bus de transport des personnels, ambulances, véhicules de liaison…). Ce afin de permettre l'accomplissement efficient des missions de coordination administrative et inspection ainsi que les opérations d'évacuation des malades et de transfusion. Sans omettre la multiplication des campagnes de vaccination et d'hygiène sanitaire sur l'ensemble du territoire.
