Les responsables d'Olam et les partenaires sociaux lors des assises de concertation à Lambaréné
Depuis quelques moments déjà, il régnait sur l'ensemble des sites d'Olam Palm, un climat délétère pour donner suite à des mouvements d'humeur de ses employés qui avaient fini par arrêter toutes les activités dans l'ensemble des plantations de l'entreprise leader dans la culture du palmier à huile au Gabon.
Cette paralysie des activés par les employés était consécutive à un ensemble de revendications dont les plus importantes tournaient autour de la principale qui concerne la revalorisation salariale et le plan de carrière des employés qui s'offusquaient de voir leurs catégories ne pas bouger malgré de longues années de travail passées à OPG.
Dès l'entame du mouvement d'humeur, la Direction Générale, avec à sa tête, le PDG OPG, a immédiatement réalisé ce que causerait la durée d'une telle situation. Elle a donc instantanément entrepris de rentrer en discussion avec son personnel des sites. C'est donc avec une attention particulière que la Direction d'Olam Palm & Rubber Gabon suit l'évolution de la situation.
Et dans sa volonté pressante de venir à bout de cette situation de blocage, la Direction Générale de l'entreprise a initié une rencontre tripartite entre l'employeur représentée par le top management, les représentants des employés via les responsables des syndicats de l'entreprise, les collectifs des travailleurs et l'administration centrale représentée par l'inspection du travail.
C'est la résidence hôtelière Arondo, lieu cossu dans la ville de Lambaréné, qui a abrité pendant deux jours (le 20 et 21 octobre 2023 ) les assises de concertation devant aboutir à des négociations afin de trouver, à terme, des solutions aux 201 points qui fâchent entre les différentes parties invitées à se retrouver pour trouver des solutions de sortie de crise.
Les débats ont parfois été houleux, mais il fallait écouter les différents acteurs de la situation autour des points de revendications à l'origine de l'arrêt des activités sur sites.
Pendant les deux jours de débats, les séances se sont terminées à des heures tardives. Mais la peine valait le coup, car au bout du deuxième jours les parties se sont accordées sur des mesures de sortie de crise dont celles avec prise d'effet immédiat sont: l'avancement automatique des employés ayant 4 ans ou plus ; L'instauration de la prime qui correspond à 3 % d'augmentation de salaire pour les employés de l’échelon C ayant 4 ans et plus ; la reprise des activités sur les sites Olam; la présentation et l'adoption du programme des discussions qui continue jusqu'à la résolution de tous les points soulevés; et le lancement des négociations sur la convention d'entreprise qui devrait régler tous les autres points de revendications. Ces négociations se tiendront du 26 octobre au 24 novembre 2023.
Au terme de ces assises, le PDG d'OPG, M. Darshan Raiyani a remercié l'ensemble des employés engagés dans la volonté de sortir du blocage, du fait qu'ils aient su négocier avec détermination auprès de leur employeur. Il a dit compter en retour sur eux, pour déployer la même énergie et détermination pour amener les travailleurs des sites dont ils sont les représentants, vers plus de discipline, de rigueur et d'abnégation au travail.
Ce d'autant qu'Olam Palm Gabon a besoin d'améliorer sa productivité et son assiduité pour rester compétitif et rentable à très long terme.
Le PDG OPG a remercié l'équipe du top management de l'entreprise qui l'accompagne dans ses négociations et l'ensemble des employés pour leur dévouement pour l’entreprise leader reconnu dans la culture du Palmier à huile au Gabon.
La signature du procès-verbal des dites assises a entériné l'ensemble des mesures prises pendant la rencontre de Lambaréné entre Employeur et Employés d'Olam Palm.
Le calme et la sérénité retrouvés d'un commun accord, place à la reprise normale des activités de l'entreprise sur l'ensemble de ses sites .
