La situation semble se compliquer pour Olivier Berni. L’ancien directeur général de la société Handling Partner Gabon (HPG) fait désormais l’objet de poursuites judiciaires. D’après Gabonreview, la direction de la société spécialisée dans l’assistance au sol des avions a informé, le lundi 3 juillet, avoir déposé plainte contre le directeur général sortant « pour des faits de malversations financières ».
Une plainte qui intervient après le licenciement, le 4 mai dernier, du ressortissant français. D’ailleurs, d’après le Conseil d’administration de l’entreprise, Berni est le responsable des « insuffisances constatées dans la gestion de la société. » Des insuffisances relatives au « plan des finances et des ressources humaines de l’entreprise».
Ce qui explique la situation chaotique dans laquelle HPG est plongée. La situation financière de l’entreprise est désastreuse à telle enseigne que la nouvelle direction générale pilotée par Didier Koukoua vient de prendre la décision de se séparer de plusieurs agents. On parle de 90 agents qui ne verront pas leurs contrats à durée déterminée (CDD) être renouvelés d’ici le début du mois de juillet. La direction générale compte aussi procéder à plusieurs restrictions financières sur d’autres postes comme le transport du personnel. Les chauffeurs de l’entreprise viennent d’être licenciés pour là, aussi, alléger la masse salariale et sauver ce qui reste de l’entreprise spécialisée dans l’assistance aéroportuaire.
La défense d’Olivier Berni
En réponse à ces accusations graves, l’ex directeur général de HPG a accusé, en retour, Akim Daouda et d’autres membres du FGIS d’avoir considérablement contribué à la descente aux enfers de l’entreprise. « Je n’ai jamais reçu de demande d’explication sur l’aspect financier. Et sur la partie ressources humaines, je m’en suis expliqué. Par contre, je recevais régulièrement des demandes incessantes de la part de certains hauts cadres du FGIS pour recruter leurs copines et autres. J’ai gardé plusieurs demandes par messagerie dans mon téléphone » fustigeait Olivier Berni dans une interview accordée au média gabonais Le Confidentiel.
Dans la même interview, Olivier Berni indiquait qu’Akim Daouda a une grande part de responsabilité dans le marrasme de HPG : « Par rapport à l’affaire HPG, la tête de Akim Daouda doit être affichée. Il est complice de tout ce bordèle par son absence totale durant près de 3 ans et me met tout ça sur le dos. » Le ressortissant français déclare en outre avoir trouvé à son arrivée une société « en état de cessation des paiements en novembre 2020. (…) Les actionnaires ont voté pour la continuité d’activités malgré une perte de près d’1,8 milliards de Fcfa pertes accumulées sur 9 mois »
