Les agents de la société d’exploitation du transgabonais ont clôturé les festivités de la Saint Éloi par une célébration faste le 09 décembre2023.
Débutée le 2 décembre dernier, la célébration de la fête de la Saint-Eloi à Setrag s’est poursuivie avec les activités sportives suivies de la décoration des médailles d’or et de bronze aux employés Elle vient de s’achever par l’organisation d’une cérémonie festive au siège de la société, le 9 décembre dernier.
Une journée festive marquée par une messe d’action de grâce qui avait pour objectif la bénédiction de l’entreprise et ses employés. En plus d’une prière pour le repos des âmes des collègues décédés. Les jeux dédiés aux enfants des employés et la visite des stands de vente de produits alimentaires et autres produits ont été les moments forts de cette journée.
« Nous avons été honorés et satisfaits par cette journée d’action de grâce qui non seulement a été pour bénir notre activité, mais aussi pour prier pour le repos des âmes de nos défunts collègues. Comme l’a dit l’aumônier, il nous faut mettre nos actions aux mains de Dieu. Voyant les accidents et incidents que nous avons enregistrés cette année comme l’effondrement et autres, nous n’avons nullement eu de perte en vies humaines et ceci grâce au Seigneur, raison pour laquelle il mérite nos remerciements et actions de grâce », a expliqué Christian Magni, directeur général de la Setrag.
Avant de poursuivre ; « c’est pour moi un réel plaisir de voir nos cheminots, leurs familles et amis, célébrer ensemble le saint patron de cheminot »
Pour rappel Éloi est le patron des cheminots choisi par les orfèvres pour la maîtrise de son art qui était le fer et l’acier et de son honnêteté sans faille, il est célébré tous les débuts du mois de décembre.
