La séance de formation dédiée aux chauffeurs et aide-chauffeurs.
A l’occasion de la 27ème journée interafricaine de la Prévention des Risques Professionnels (IAPRP), AGL Gabon a participé à une série de formations à la prévention des risques professionnels, organisé par l’organisme nationale de la sécurité sociale au Gabon.
Du 19 au 22 juin 2023, une cinquantaine de chauffeurs et d'aide-chauffeurs routiers ont participé à des sessions qui se sont déroulées au sein des locaux de l'entreprise. Sous le thème « La Sécurité et la Santé au Travail à l'épreuve de la sécurité routière : quelle synergie d'action entre les acteurs publics et privés", ces formations avaient pour objectif de rappeler les enjeux socio-économiques des imprudences dans le processus de livraison opéré par les chauffeurs de l’entreprise. Elles visaient essentiellement à sensibiliser les chauffeurs routiers, et à clarifier les rôles et responsabilités de l’entreprise en cas d’accident de travail.
Les ateliers ont été animés par des cadres administratifs de cet organisme public, dont la mission a été de sensibiliser les chauffeurs, sur leur comportement en tant que représentants de leurs entreprises sur la voie publique. A ce titre, les formateurs ont rappelé qu’en plus d’entrainer des répercussions sur la vie des victimes, tout accident ou incident sur la route pourrait engager la responsabilité de l’entreprise, tout en engendrant des coûts importants pour les parties prenantes, notamment pour les victimes elles-mêmes et les conducteurs.
En mobilisant ses chauffeurs pour cette journée, AGL Gabon s’engage dans une démarche d'amélioration continue de la qualité de service offerte à ses clients, de la sûreté de ses processus opérationnels, de la santé et de la sécurité de son personnel ainsi que des sous-traitants. L'entreprise s'efforce de respecter les exigences légales, réglementaires, et d'éthique et conformité.
