Or, rappelle, le collectif des clubs, pour trouver une solution à cette crise le gouvernement avait organisé, 12 jours durant, les assises du championnat national du football. Mais tout cela n’a, semble-t-il, été qu’une vaste fumisterie. Puisque quelques mois après la clôture des travaux et la formulation des solutions, c’est l’immobilisme. Au point que l’association des club en vient à donner raison aux détracteurs de ces assises.
L’association exige néanmoins du gouvernement que des décisions immédiates soient prises pour sortir de ce marasme ; entre autres, la levée de l’arrêté gouvernemental interdisant la pratique des sports collectifs, l’annonce d’une date de démarrage des championnats, la mise en place d’un protocole sanitaire, la proposition d’un calendrier, le paiement intégral du solde de la subvention sportive 2019-2020…
Si ces pistes de solutions ne sont pas prises par l’exécutif et que le chaos se poursuit, l’association des clubs menace de saisir à moyen terme les instances internationales du football. L’association des clubs fustige en outre les informations laissant penser que les clubs sont responsables de la non-reprise des championnats domestiques. « Les clubs réitèrent leur attachement à la vaccination des acteurs » tout en demandant au gouvernement de prendre en compte les préalables posés sur sa table. Pire, en cas de non-prise en compte de leurs préoccupations, les clubs menacent de ne pas prendre part aux compétitions africaines pour le compte de la saison sportive 2021-2020.
