Bienvenu Obiang, actuel président de l’Union Sportive de Bitam (USB) va répondre, demain vendredi 16 septembre, à une plainte émise contre l’entité qu’il dirige à la direction générale des recherches (DGR). Notre confrère de Gabon Elite Magasine indique que cette convocation serait liée à une dette jusqu’ici non-soldée du club de football auprès de Moabi Hôtel.
La structure hôtelière située au quartier Ozangué, dans le cinquième arrondissement de la commune de Libreville, exige au club de football le remboursement de la somme de 700 mille Fcfa depuis 2018.
Rappel des faits
Du 15 au 17 octobre 2018, les joueurs et le staff de l'USB vont séjourner à Moabi Hôtel. La facture de ce séjour est arrêtée à la somme forfaitaire de 1 million 150 mille Fcfa. Sur place, le club va procéder au paiement d'une avance de 450 mille Fcfa. Les dirigeants de l’USB vont promettre de régler les 700 mille Fcfa restants le mois suivant. Mais cette promesse ne sera pas respectée. Dans leur volonté de rentrer en possession de ce reliquat, les responsables de l'espace hôtelier vont inviter le club à procéder au paiement de la dette. Mais du côté de l'USB, c’est le silence radio.
En 2019, le responsable de Moabi Hôtel est victime d'un accident vasculaire cérébral (AVC) qui l’amène à suivre des soins en Afrique du Sud. A son retour, le club, qui ne manque pourtant pas d'argent, ne daigne toujours pas régler sa dette malgré les supplications du propriétaire qui comptait sur cet argent pour payer ses soins médicaux. Mais que nenni !
Face à cette volonté du club de ne pas solder sa dette, la structure hôtelière a donc initié une action en justice pour recouvrer son argent. D’ailleurs, révèle Gabon Elite Magasine, le président du club reconnaît l’existence de cette dette mais estime que « l’USB est une institution qui a des problèmes de trésorerie. C’est vrai que j’avais promis passer solder cette facture, sauf qu’après, il y a eu un certain nombre de contingences dont je ne suis pas obligé de vous expliquer… », indiquait-il dans les colonnes du journal en ligne. Pas sûr que cette ligne de défense suffise demain à la DGR.
