Franck Nguema, ministre des Sports ou officier médias ?
Il n’a ni l’étoffe, ni le background pour être à ce poste. Il n’est donc pas étonnant de constater que Franck Nguema ne soit pas capable de faire la différence entre les prérogatives dévolues à un ministre des Sports et celles d’un président de fédération. Incapable de définir les grands objectifs de la politique nationale du sport, d’en fixer le cadre en plus de s’assurer de sa mise en œuvre, Franck Nguema s’est subitement transformé en fonctionnaire de la Fédération gabonaise de football (Fegafoot).
Au point que profitant de la détention de Pierre Alain Mounguengui à la prison centrale de Libreville, ce « petit ministre » a décidé de devenir l’officier médias de la Fegafoot en lieu et place de notre confrère, Pablo Moussodji Ngoma. Désormais la sélection des médias devant couvrir les matchs des équipes nationales de football passe par lui. Il en est de même pour les voyages à l’étranger comme à l’intérieur du pays. Les primes reçues par les journalistes sont aussi directement gérées par Monsieur le ministre. Excusez du peu !
Le tout organisé dans une sorte de copinage, de préférence ethnique et de flagornerie à l’honneur d’un homme qui a, en horreur, la critique. Personne dans le monde des médias ne doit rappeler à cet homme qu’un ministre (même dans un gouvernement aussi médiocre que celui d’Ossouka) n’est pas là pour se mêler du fonctionnement interne d’une fédération mais pour s’assurer de la mise en oeuvre de la politique du président de la République dans le domaine du Sport. Or, à ce niveau Franck Nguema affiche un bilan calamiteux. Sous son magistère, les équipes nationales dans toutes les disciplines sportives n’ont rien remporté comme compétitions.
Pire, cet homme est le principal acteur des mésaventures de l’équipe nationale de football lors de la dernière Coupe d’Afrique des nations au Cameroun. A ce jour, personne ne sait la destination prise par les primes des joueurs qui avaient curieusement disparues dans les bagages du ministre. Que dire de l’argent prétendument reversé aux fédérations alors que plusieurs présidents ont clairement indiqué n’avoir jamais reçu les montants évoqués par Nguema. Ministre ou prébendier ? L’opinion a du mal à situer la place de cet homme.
