Victime de xénophobie, Gervais Ango a perdu un investissement de 450 millions de Fcfa.
La récente nomination d’Ousmane Cissé, ressortissant sénégalais, à la tête de la société d’eau et d’énergie du Gabon (SEEG) vient de raviver une affaire de xénophobie dont un homme d’affaires gabonais a été récemment victime. Tout en exigeant l’annulation immédiate de la nomination d’Ousmane Cissé, les gabonais rappellent qu’une telle promotion n’aurait jamais eu lieu au pays de la Téranga à l’endroit d’un ressortissant gabonais.
Pour preuve, Gervais Ango entrepreneur gabonais propriétaire de la Société de production et de commerce Sénégal a perdu un investissement de près de 450 millions de Fcfa. Ce dernier, relèvent nos confrères de Mediaposte, a été poussé à mettre la clef sous le paillasson après avoir investi plus de 450 millions FCFA dans une entreprise d’élevage des poulets de chairs au Sénégal. C’est en 2015, à l’issu de son départ volontaire de Total Marketing Gabon, que Gervais Ango ira s’installer au Sénégal afin d’y concrétiser son rêve d’avoir une ferme d’élevage de poulets de chairs, en plus de faire dans l’agriculture. Le projet va se concrétiser au bout de plusieurs années de sacrifices et de financements propres. Gervais Ango va, par la suite, nouer un partenariat avec le Groupe SEDIMA, géré par l’homme d’affaire Babacar N’gom.
Sauf qu’après de nombreuses démarches administratives pour être en règle avec les lois de son pays d’accueil, va subir des actes visant à le pousser à la fermeture de son entreprise.
« Dans les lettres adressées aux autorités sénégalaises et gabonaises, Gervais Ango dénonçait des traitements commerciaux abusifs, des menaces contre son intégrité physique et économique, sans omettre les trafics d’influence. Il s’en est suivi la mise en bride de l’activité de production, puis la baisse des performances zootechniques et les surcoûts d’exploitation. A cela s’est ajoutée la mise en demeure de sa banque. » relève Médiaposte.
