Plus rien ne va au sein de la Compagnie Minière de l'Ogooué (COMILOG). L’Administrateur général de la Comilog, Leod Paul Batolo, est désormais sous pression. Pour cause ? La coalition syndicale vient de déposer sur sa table un préavis de grève tout en remettant ouvertement en cause sa gestion de cette filiale du groupe Eramet.
Un préavis qui concerne l’ensemble des travailleurs du pays : « Nous, collectif des syndicats de la COMILOG SA, avons tenu les 23 et 25 mai 2023, une assemblée générale des travailleurs respectivement à Owendo et à Moanda sur la communication relative à la prime et performance », souligne la coalition dans la correspondance en date du 25 mai dernier et dont Top Infos Gabon a obtenu copie.
Les agents de la COMILOG accusent, entre autres, Batolo et les membres de la direction d’avoir volontairement communiqué des informations « incohérentes » sur le bilan 2022 et perspectives 2023. Ces incohérences visaient-elles à tromper les salariés afin de ne pas donner une suite favorable à leurs revendications ? Il n’y a plus l’ombre d’un doute pour les agents de la COMILOG. D’autant qu’à ce jour la direction générale n’a toujours pas procédé à l’application du mécanisme mis en place pendant la période covid-19 en 2020 et 2021. Lequel mécanisme, souligne la coalition syndicale, octroyait la somme de 100 mille Fcfa par agent du fait de l’inorganisation de la soirée de gala de la Ste BARBE 2022 aux dates habituelles, en lieu et place d’une soirée organisée en milieu d’année N+1.
Conséquence de cette situation, les travailleurs ont décidé de déposer un préavis de grève qui débute le samedi 27 mai 2023 à minuit jusqu’au 7 juin 2023 à 23H59. Passé ce délai, rajoutent les partenaires sociaux, si l’intégralité des revendications des travailleurs n’aboutit pas, les travailleurs des sites Moanda et Owendo rentreront en grève jusqu’à la satisfaction totale de ces deux points.
Les récriminations contre Batolo ne s’arrêtent pas là. Plusieurs partenaires montent, eux aussi, au créneau pour dénoncer le copinage et l’opacité qui prévalent dans l’octroi des contrats aux entreprises sous-traitantes. L’entreprise Bâti béton, dont on prête à Batolo d’être le véritable propriétaire, s’est vue par exemple octroyer un important contrat alors que plusieurs autres prétendants sont congédiés tels des malpropres. « Pendant que les agents exigent leurs primes, Batolo se la coule douce, octroie des marchés sans appels d’offres à des étrangers qui sont souvent que des hommes de paille tout en snobant les hommes d’affaires gabonais… », fustige une source interne.
