La SEE fait vivre à ses clients un véritable calvaire.
Alors qu’elle est en situation de monopole depuis sa création, il y a plusieurs décennies, la Société d’énergie et d’eau du Gabon n’arrive toujours pas à satisfaire ses clients. Outre les nombreuses coupures d’eau et d’électricité, dame SEEG se trouve dans l’incapacité de fournir les compteurs d’eau et d’électricité à ses nombreux clients. Cette situation dure, depuis plus d’un an déjà. « J’ai déposé ma demande de compteur d’eau, depuis 2021, les rendez-vous à la SEEG sont devenus interminables, puisque la réponse est la même », explique M.E, habitant dans un quartier de Libreville. Ce dernier ne comprend pas le calvaire qu’il vit, depuis qu’il a sollicité les services de dame SEEG pour l’installation d’un compteur d’eau à son domicile.
« Pour le moment, nous n’avons pas de compteurs d’électricité triphasé », indique un agent de la Société d’électricité et d’eau du Gabon à un autre client. L’attitude de la SEEG s’assimile quasiment à de l’arnaque, lorsqu’on sait qu’elle exige d’abord le cash, avant de fournir les compteurs à ses clients. Elle exige le cash, sachant bien qu’elle est dans l’incapacité de satisfaire ses clients. Du côté de la SEEG, où des clients vont s’enquérir de la situation, rien de concret n’est servi comme réponse, si ce n’est « patientez ».
Selon des indiscrétions, cette situation perdure depuis le retour de la SEEG dans l’escarcelle de l’Etat. Depuis lors, les clients ont du mal à obtenir les compteurs d’eau et d’électricité. Raison de cette situation qui embarrasse les clients, le contrat avec le fournisseur sud-africain, qui acceptait de livrer les compteurs avant paiement, a été résilié.
Tout le contraire du nouveau partenaire tunisien. Celui-ci exige au moins 60 % de la facture avant de livrer les compteurs. Une condition que l’actionnaire principal, qui est l’Etat, n’arrive pas à honorer jusqu’à ce jour. Résultats, ce sont les clients qui paient le lourd tribut de cette irresponsabilité.
