Une simulation d’exercice d’extinction de feu.
L’Aéroport de Libreville a organisé, le 12 décembre 2023, la 3ème édition de sa journée sécurité de l’aviation civile, sous l’égide de son Directeur Général, M. Igor Simard. L’événement était piloté par deux experts en sécurité et sûreté en aviation civile : M. Augustin Mfoudi et M. Dieudonné Mfoubou Moudhouma.
Les experts ont édifié les opérateurs de l’aéroport sur les normes, la supervision, la gestion et le management de la sécurité dans l’aviation civile. Ils ont expliqué le Plan National de Sécurité (PNS) qui décrit l’ensemble des règlements et directives régissant la conduite d’opérations sûres, du point de vue des exploitants d’aéronefs, des fournisseurs de services de la circulation aérienne, des aérodromes et des services de maintenance. Après l’atelier de présentation, une simulation d’exercice d’extinction de feu a été coordonnée par un agent des sapeurs-pompiers de l’aéroport.
Revenant sur le bien-fondé de l’initiative, M. Dieudonné Mfoubou Moudhouma a indiqué qu’ADL n’est pas à son premier essai. « L’initiative, qui n'est pas récente, constitue désormais une tradition. Elle s'inscrit dans la culture de sécurité au sein de l'espace aéroportuaire. ADL fait de la culture de la sécurité une obligation ».
Par ailleurs, a-t-il poursuivi, « cette année, il a été question de rechercher les objets étrangers sur la plateforme car ils peuvent nuire à la circulation notamment des avions sur le tarmac. En outre, il a également été question que les agents ainsi que tous les autres collaborateurs à la plateforme comprennent la nécessité de maintenir le niveau de sécurité de l'aéroport ».
Pour sa part, M. Augustin Mfoudi a rappelé que l’objectif d’ADL est d’atteindre zéro accident sur la plateforme aéroportuaire et les actions pour y parvenir « pour atteindre cet objectif, ou du moins s’en approcher, il y a des actions à engager et à maintenir. A savoir, mener des activités de sensibilisation afin d’établir une synergie entre les différents opérateurs aéroportuaires et intervenants internes », a-t-il déclaré.
