Trois ans après les populations de Mokabo s'interrogent sur les identités des commanditaires.
Après la première partie consacrée à une vague de disparitions dont celle du septuagénaire Charles Nzengue enlevé en 2016 dans une forêt proche de Mouila, du quinquagénaire Étienne Mamadou, disparu en 2015 au village Lasongue et du jeune Evouna Dorlan Ondo, disparu à Booué en 2015, la rédaction de Top Infos Gabon, revient dans cette deuxième partie de notre enquête sur deux autres « morts sans corps » Enquête.

Jessy Mobéa Mobéa 3 ans, et Steev Mopoto Monanga 5 ans deux frères enlevés dans la journée du 24 mai 2017 au village Mokabo, situé à 18 km de Mouila, dans la province de la Ngounié. 4 ans déjà que les deux garçonnets ont été enlevés et ‘’vendus’’ à des «personnes intéressées », par leur grand-père Michel Mbondo. Le cinquantenaire révolu est décédé à la maison d'arrêt de Mouila, le 20 décembre 2017. Depuis le décès de l’auteur de ces deux enlèvements rien n'a plus bougé dans le dossier. Pourtant les noms des présumés commanditaires auraient été livrés par Michel Mbondo avant son décès. D'ailleurs, les circonstances de sa mort n'ont jamais été clairement établies, si bien que beaucoup soupçonnent une disparition qui visait à effacer les traces et taire définitivement l'affaire.
Rappels des faits
Dans la journée du mercredi 24 mai 2017, Jessy Mobea et Steev Mopoto sont portés disparus alors qu'ils jouaient à la cours de la maison familiale. Ce jour-là, le village Mokabo était bondé de gens venus de Mouila et des villages voisins pour assister à une cérémonie de bwiti organisée à l’occasion d’un retrait de deuil. Michel Mbondo, ayant planifié le projet macabre, s’est momentanément retiré du corps de garde où étaient regroupés les hommes pour y revenir quelques temps plus tard. C’est au retour de la brousse que Landry Mobéa, le père d’un des enfants constatera l’absence de ces derniers. Les croyant chez les voisins comme d’habitude, le jeune père de famille s’est précipité au corps de garde où se trouvaient les hommes pour le début de la cérémonie. Une fois reparti à la maison, il constatera à nouveau l’absence des deux enfants. Seuls l’enfant âgé de 8 ans et le dernier fils du couple Mobéa étaient à la maison.
Toute chose qui a suscité des interrogations. Curieusement, Michel Mbondo était maintenant assis au corps de garde d’où il a été appelé d’urgence pour s’expliquer de la disparition des deux petits. Comme toutes les autres personnes interrogées, lui aussi déclarera ne pas savoir où se trouvaient ses petits-fils. Les proches des deux jeunes, aidés par quelques volontaires du village, se sont mis à les rechercher dans tout le village, sans succès. Ne les ayant trouvés nulle part, certains ont tout de suite conclu qu’ils ont sans doute été emmenés à Mouila chez l’une de ses filles qui travaille à la société Olam. Mais par qui?
Très tard dans la nuit, alors que tout le monde se préoccupait de la situation,Michel Mbombo est curieusement allé passer la nuit à Nguembet, un village voisin situé à deux kilomètres de Mokabo, chez la famille de sa seconde épouse qui se trouvait à Libreville. Au lever du jour, il a pris le chemin de Mouila sans donner la raison de ce déplacement suspect. Suspect numéro un, il sera interpellé par la gendarmerie de Mouila.
Au cours de l'audition, il avouera avoir enlevé les enfants avant de les emmener dans un verger. Là-bas il les aurait attaché à des arbres fruitiers en attendant de les livrer à des individus, « les acheteurs » en échange d’une somme d’un million de francs CFA. Michel Mbondo va dans un premièr temps se garder de donner les noms des supposés trafiquants d'enfants.
Pour voir clair, certains membres de la famille vont aller chez Ghéanga, un maître spirituel vivant à Yeno, un village situé à 21 Km de Mimongo. Reconnu pour ses révélations, ce dernier aurait indiqué le lieu où étaient détenus les deux enfants. Dans une maison de réunions privées. Mais curieusement les agents vont refuser que la maison indiquée soit perquisitionnée. Ce qui avait provoqué la colère les habitants du village Mokabo. Lesquels vont organiser une marche qui sera d'ailleurs très sévèrement réprimée par les forces de l'ordre.
