Sauf changement de dernière minute, le gouvernement va, bel et bien, opter pour la mise en place d’un bureau provisoire à la tête de la Chambre de commerce. Ce bureau, d’après plusieurs sources au sommet de l’Etat, aura pour mission de gérer les affaires courantes et d’organiser le prochain scrutin. La décision, qui aurait déjà été actée, risque de mettre fin au mandat de Jean-Baptiste Bikalou à la tête de cette entité depuis 12 ans. Ce fut, d’ailleurs, tout le sens de la dernière dénonciation des responsables des PME membres de la Chambre de commerce.
Face à la situation d’illégalité de Bikalou, les responsables des entreprises membres de la Chambre de commerce ont demandé à l’Exécutif l’organisation d’une élection en plus de la présentation par l’équipe sortante de leur bilan. Si Yves-Fernand Mamfoumbi avait, en tant que ministre des Petites et moyennes entreprises (PME), tenté, il y a quelques mois, d’organiser le scrutin, il a été très vite stoppé par sa hiérarchie et le dossier confié à sa collègue de l’Economie. Sauf que la ministre Nicole Jeanine Lydie Roboty épouse Mbou, pour des raisons obscures, refuse, catégoriquement, de donner suite à ce dossier.
Conséquence, depuis quasiment huit mois, les activités à la Chambre de commerce sont bloquées. Les entrepreneurs sont dépourvus d’une tribune, afin de porter leurs préoccupations. Lors d’une récente montée au créneau, ces derniers ont décidé de saisir le président de la République, Ali Bongo Ondimba. Ils demandent l’implication du Chef de l’Etat, afin de trouver une solution définitive à une situation qui s’enlise.
Soupçons de malversations et accusations de gabegie
Outre le fait que le président sortant de la Chambre de commerce refuse de faire le bilan de sa gestion de la structure, les entrepreneurs demandent à Bikalou des éclaircissements sur la subvention inscrite cette année au Budget de l’Etat pour le fonctionnement de la Chambre de commerce. Tout comme la lumière sur l’argent issu de la location des installations de la Chambre de commerce au Copil pendant plus d’un an. Soupçonnant le bureau sortant de s’accrocher au pouvoir pour ne pas avoir à faire l’objet des poursuites judiciaires, les entrepreneurs avaient demandé la mise en place d’un bureau qui aurait pour charge d’organiser les élections en plus de gérer les affaires courantes. Sauf que cette demande n’a jamais été approuvée par la ministre de l’Economie.
