Les deux chefs d'Etat lors de la rencontre.
Après Malabo, Brazzaville, Bangui et Ndjamena, le Chef de l’Etat, le Général Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema est arrivé ce mercredi à Kinshasa en République Démocratique du Congo dans le cadre d’une visite de travail et d’amitié.
Ce séjour du Président de la Transition à Kinshasa a été l’occasion pour lui d’échanger avec son Homologue Congolais Son Excellence Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, Président de la République Démocratique du Congo.
Entre autres sujet abordés lors de cette entrevue entre les deux Chefs d’Etat à la cité de l'Union Africaine de Kinshasa figurent principalement les tenants et les aboutissants du processus de transition amorcé au Gabon, la coopération bilatérale et multisectorielle qui lie Libreville et Kinshasa ainsi que l'actualité sous-régionale et continentale. Les deux personnalités se sont engagées à pérenniser les liens d’amitié et de coopération qui unissent les deux pays depuis plusieurs décennies.
Les questions de paix et de sécurité dans la sous-région, d’intérêt commun, notamment celles liées à la préservation de l'environnement sur lesquelles les deux pays sont impliqués ont également été passées en revue par les deux homologues.
Le Président de la Transition s’est dit honoré de l’hospitalité dont ont fait preuve les autorités congolaises à son égard ainsi qu’à la délégation qui l’accompagnait. Il s’est réjoui des échanges fructueux qu’il a eus avec son Homologue le Président de la République Démocratique du Congo, et exhorté le peuple Congolais à préserver la paix à l'orée de la tenue prochaine de l'élection présidentielle dans leur pays.
Aussi, le Président de la République est allé à la rencontre de la communauté gabonaise vivant à Kinshasa. Ceux-ci lui ont exprimé leurs félicitations pour le coup de libération mené au Gabon et se sont dit prêts à soutenir sa vision.
