Lucien Boutimba a été tué dans la forêt de Makongonio, bourgade située dans le département de la Boumi-Louetsi (Mbigou),
L’affaire est révélée par le journal La Cigale Enchantée dans sa livraison de ce vendredi 13 octobre. Lucien Boutimba, un homme âgé de 70 ans a été tué puis jété à l’eau par ses compagnons de pêche dans la localité de Makongonio dans la province de la Ngounié.

Il y a deux semaines, Lucien Boutimba a disparu dans la forêt de Makongonio, bourgade située dans le département de la Boumi-Louetsi (Mbigou), dans la province de la Ngounié. L’homme, âgé de 70 ans environ, avait quitté le village pour une partie de pêche avec deux de ses compagnons. Sauf que jusqu’à ce jour, le septuagénaire n'a toujours pas regagné sa famille.
En garde à vue depuis le déclenchement de l'affaire, les compagnons de Lucien Boutimba sont accusés d’être les responsables de cette étrange disparition. D’après les premiers éléments de l’enquête, les compagnons auraient avoué avoir assassiné Lucien Boutimba avant de jeter sa dépouille à l'eau, histoire d'effacer toutes les traces.
Le jour de la disparition
Selon un membre de la famille du porté disparu, Lucien Boutimba vivait à Lébamba, dans le département de la Louetsi-Wano. Il avait décidé de passer un séjour au village Makongonio, situé entre Mbigou et Lébamba. Lors de son séjour dans le village, l'ancien agent de la Sogara (société pétrolière) avait programmé une partie de pêche avec deux de ses amis. Le jour-J, le trio se rendra au campement. Les trois hommes vont décider de faire un petit repos et d'aller à la rivière pour l'installation des filets de pêche. Ce qu'ils auraient d'ailleurs fait.
Sauf que le lundi 25 septembre, les deux hommes remotent au village en panique et alertent sur la disparition de Lucien Boutimba. Etrange. Ils affirment que Lucien est introuvable depuis le dimanche, alors qu’il était resté au campement lorsqu’ils s’étaient rendus à la rivière pour placer les filets.
Une version des faits qui ne convainc pas grand monde. Surtout la gendarmerie de Mbigou qui va, immédiatement, procéder à l’arrestation des deux compagnons de Lucien. D’autant que les recherches conjointement menées, plusieurs jours durant, entre les gendarmes et les habitants de Makongonio, se solderont par un échec.
Ils passent aux aveux
Au cours de l'audition, les deux suspects seraient passés aux aveux. Ils auraient avoué avoir tué Lucien Boutimba au bord de la rivière. « Ils ont tué papa. Ils l'ont attaché avec de gros cailloux et l'ont jeté à l'eau », a affirmé l'un des fils de Lucien. Une déclaration du membre de la famille à la suite de l’entretien avec le commandant de compagnie de la gendarmerie de Mbigou. « Votre papa est mort. Ils ont avoué. Demain, on ira récupérer le corps », indique l’officier de la gendarmerie nationale.
« On est allé sur place, mais ils ne nous montrent pas l'endroit où ils ont jeté le corps. Ça nous rend totalement confus, puisque les autorités chargées du dossier traînent. Nous espérons que ce n'est pas une attitude qui tend à protéger les commanditaires », a déclaré l’officier des Forces de défense.
« Nous voulons que toute la lumière soit faite sur cette affaire. De même, nous ne demandons qu'une tombe pour notre papa », peste un des enfants de la victime.
