Africa Global Logistics (AGL), acteur majeur du transport et de la logistique en Afrique, s’associe à l’Association Internationale de la presse sportive (AIPS) – Section Afrique, pour créer le « PRIX AIPS Afrique 2023 ». Ce prix vise à valoriser les oeuvres journalistiques qui ont mis en lumière les impacts sociaux et économiques de la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations (CAN), la plus grande compétition de football du continent. Le « PRIX AIPS Afrique 2023 » souhaite également promouvoir le sport, surtout le football, comme un facteur d’inclusion et de cohésion sociale en Afrique.
Le prix comprend 4 catégories : presse écrite, télévision, radio et web. Pour participer, les candidats doivent soumettre des oeuvres publiées ou diffusées entre le 1er janvier 2023 et le 20 janvier 2024, dans un média reconnu et accessible au public. Les oeuvres doivent être originales, pertinentes, créatives et respectueuses de l’éthique professionnelle. Un jury, composé de personnalités du monde des médias et du sport en Afrique, sélectionnera un lauréat par catégorie, ainsi que des mentions spéciales si nécessaire. Les lauréats seront annoncés lors d’une cérémonie officielle qui se tiendra le 25 janvier 2024 à Abidjan. Ils recevront des trophées, des certificats et des prix en espèces d’une valeur de 1500 euros par catégorie, fournis par AGL.
