Certainement pas les agents qui sont désormais habités par la peur du lendemain dans une entreprise qui détient pourtant l’exclusivité en matière de la commercialisation de l’eau et de l’électricité dans le pays. Personne dans l’opinion ne croit un seul instant que la Société d’eau et d’énergie du Gabon (SEEG) soit dans une situation réelle de faillite. Si faillite il y a, elle est la conséquence d’une gabegie voulue et orchestrée par des gens qui veulent par tous les moyens mettre la main sur SEEG.
D’après plusieurs sources au fait du dossier, le plan bien huilé consiste à déclarer la faillite de la société et permettre son rachat par le Fonds gabonais d’investissement stratégique (FGIS). C’est pourquoi, dès sa nomination, le Directeur général par intérim, Sylvère Bitegue s’est précipité à annoncer, lors d’une réunion avec le personnel, que les comptes de la société étaient au rouge et qu’une restructuration allait être nécessaire. Or, le personnel, lors de l’assemblée générale organisée le 12 juillet dernier, a fustigé « l’omerta affichée sur la mise à disposition des données financières d’une part, et la fiabilité de ces chiffres d’autre part ».
Pire, les agents vont, par ailleurs, s’interroger sur les raisons de l’absence de certification des comptes de 2019, 2020, 2021 et 2022. Comment, dans de telles conditions, accorder du crédit à la thèse d’une faillite quand il n’existe aucune visibilité dans la gestion des ressources ? La question demeure, à ce jour, sans réponse. Preuve supplémentaire d’une opération d’enfumage, l’Etat gabonais donne l’impression de tout mettre en œuvre pour acter la fameuse faillite. « Sinon, comment comprendre que la SEEG, dont l’actionnaire majoritaire est l’Etat, puisse payer le gaz à 4 dollars le pied cube quand la société du Patrimoine la paie 2 fois moins cher », s’interrogeait Sandrine Ogoula dans l’interview accordée à la Cigale Enchantée (n° 122 du mardi 18 juillet).
Et la présidente du SYNTEE+ de poursuivre : « Le personnel s’interroge, au regard de ces faits, sur l’objectif de cette absence d’intervention de l’Etat qui, en outre, ne fournit aucun effort pour le règlement de sa dette ». Allez y comprendre. Si les agents ont préconisé que des démarches soient entreprises auprès de l’Exécutif, afin d’y voir clair et trouver des solutions négociées pour sauver l’entreprise, ils ne comptent pas pour autant être les sacrifiés dans ce qui semble être une vaste arnaque.
