Conduite par son Vice-président, Jean Baptiste Bikalou, la Fédération des entreprises du Gabon (FEG) a rencontré, le 20 novembre dernier, le ministre des Travaux Publics, Flavien Nzengui Nzoundou. Ce, afin d’exprimer au membre du gouvernement leur disponibilité à accompagner l’exécutif dans la mise en œuvre des grands chantiers de développement du pays. Le ministre des Travaux Publics, le Général Flavien Nzengui Nzoundou, a présidé une réunion le lundi 20 novembre dernier, avec la Fédération des Entreprises du Gabon (FEG) conduite par son Vice-Président Jean Baptiste Bikalou.
La FEG, qui ambitionne bâtir une économie forte pour garantir la stabilité des entreprises gabonaises et la solidarité nationale, est venue savoir comment, à partir d’un partenariat avec le ministère des Travaux Publics, elle pourrait constituer pour le gouvernement de Transition un des acteurs majeurs pour la réalisation des projets d'envergures tels que, le désenclavement du grand Libreville, la construction d'une cité administrative, le projet Libreville II et exprimer son plaidoyer pour la prise en compte des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises (PME) gabonaises dans l’attribution des marchés publics, de garantir également sa disponibilité à pouvoir accompagner le gouvernement quant au financement et le suivi de l’exécution de ses projets.
Le ministre des Travaux Publics a tout d'abord rappelé à l'auditoire que la route est le chantier prioritaire de son département ministériel car le développement du pays passe nécessairement par l'entretien des routes existantes (bitumées et non revêtues), l’aménagement des nouvelles routes qui permettent de connecter Libreville aux autres capitales provinciales et des voiries urbaines.
Dans le même ordre d'idée, le ministre des Travaux Publics a relevé le manque d’assainissement des bassins versants et le comportement incivique des populations qui concourent à la dégradation du patrimoine routier national.
Les échanges ont ensuite porté sur le récent recensement des PME gabonaises lancé par le ministère des Travaux publics en vue d’avoir un aperçu global des PME éligibles à l’accomplissement de ses travaux pour la route.
Par ailleurs, d’autres thématiques telles que l’assainissement du climat des affaires, la gestion des subdivisons des travaux publics ont également été abordées au cours de cette rencontre.
Très attentif aux solutions préconisées par les responsables de la FEG, le ministre des Travaux Publics a réaffirmé son appui du secteur privé, car il représente un moteur de croissance économique et de création d’emplois. Sur ce plan, on note une convergence de visions entre les deux acteurs dans la conduite du partenariat public-privé.
Le ministre des Travaux publics a marqué sa disponibilité à travailler en étroite collaboration avec la FEG dans l’optique de contribuer efficacement au développement de l’économie nationale.
