L' équipe de la Setrag a enregistré des résultats satisfaisants.
La Société d’Exploitation du Transgabonais (SETRAG), via son équipe de football baptisée " La Locomotive FC", a pris part à deux tournois de football inter-entreprises qui se se sont déroulés à Libreville .
Débutée le 11 juin dernier, la première compétition dénommée "Corporate championship" est une initiative de l’ancien international gabonais, Paul Ulrich Kessany. 16 équipes, dont l’équipe de football de la Setrag, ont pris part à la compétition qui a eu lieu au Complexe sportif Augustin Monédan de Sibang au PK 9.
L’équipe de la société d’exploitation du Transgabonais ( Setrag) a en outre participé à un deuxième tournoi qui a réuni 10 équipes le weekend écoulé. The Corporate Challenge Élite organisé par Mme Estevile Bouya a eu lieu au Complexe Sportif Don Bosco de Mikolongo à Okala .
A travers ces participations, la société d’exploitation du Transgabonais (SETRAG), filiale du groupe Eramet, démontre que les activités sportives ont une place importante dans sa politique RSE. Fait inédit, la Locomotive FC de la Setrag a dû diviser son équipe en deux afin de pouvoir participer aux deux tournois qui se jouaient simultanément.
Pour ces premières journées, le bilan est satisfaisant, car les hommes du président Nzatsi Mouiri, par ailleurs responsable sport de la Setrag, n’ont perdu aucun match. Les joueurs entraînés par le coach Nzamba Bellus ont fait une belle entrée dans la première compétition, dès le 11juin dernier, avec à la clé; une victoire 2-1 contre le représentant de la CDG et un match nul (1-1) face à l’équipe du groupe Gabon Télévision. La deuxième journée dudit tournoi, qui s’est déroulée le samedi 18 juin 2022 a vu la Locomotive de la Setrag prendre l’avantage sur la SMAG (1-0) au premier match et faire match nul zéro but partout face au représentant de la BICIG.
Des résultats qui font dire au responsable sport de la Setrag M. NZATSI Mouiri que son équipe n’est pas venue faire de la figuration ; « C’est vrai que tout est symbolique mais c’est une compétition et il faut la gagner pour faire honneur à notre entreprise qui a fait d’énormes sacrifices pour que nous puissions prendre part à ces compétitions. J’avoue que c’est difficile d’honorer à ces deux rendez-vous mais avec nos effectifs je crois que par ces résultats nous sommes sur une belle lancée. »
