La guerre est déclarée entre les organisations patronales conduites par Emmanuel Zué et le ministre de l’Economie. Au lendemain de l’audience que Mays Mouissi a accordée au président sortant de la Chambre de commerce, Jean Baptiste Bikalou, les opérateurs économiques ont organisé une déclaration de presse pour fustiger la partialité du membre du gouvernement sur ce dossier. Ils en veulent pour preuve le fait que le ministre de l’Economie n’a, jusqu’à ce jour, donné une suite aux travaux sur les conditions de l'organisation du bureau transitoire de la chambre de commerce alors que lesdits travaux ont été menés conjointement entre ses équipes et les opérateurs économiques.
Un silence interprété par les opérateurs économiques comme du mépris à leur endroit mais surtout comme une volonté de les écarter du processus de transition à la chambre de commerce. Pire, Mays Mouissi est accusé d’être sous l’influence des chefs d’entreprises de la Fédération des entreprises du Gabon ( FEG) que dirige Henri Claude Oyima et dont le président sortant de la chambre de commerce est un influent membre.
« Mays Mouissi agirait en tenant compte de la sensibilité financière et non en prenant compte la ferme volonté du vent de changement qui souffle sur notre pays. Un changement voulu qui ne devrait pourtant pas laisser insensible le ministre de l'Economie, car étant lui-même bénéficiaire des effets de ce vent de changement », fustige Emmanuel Zué, le président et porte-parole des organisations patronales nationales.
Non sans indiquer que la mise en place de ce bureau ne relève pas de la compétence de Jean Baptiste Bikalou, mais du ministre. Le mandat de monsieur Jean Baptiste Bikalou étant échu depuis plusieurs années, ce dernier, en réalité, n'assure que les affaires courantes. D'autres part, nous ne comprenons toujours pas que nous ayant travaillé durant des semaines sous la supervision du conseiller technique du ministre Mays Mouissi, à ce jour ce dernier n'ait jamais pris la peine de nous recevoir pour s'imprégner du contenu de nos travaux. »
Et d’ajouter « Chose curieuse, lorsque le ministre de l'économie a reçu des orientations du directeur de cabinet du premier ministre, il s'est empressé d'instruire ses collaborateurs de monter un dossier aux conséquences fâcheuses pour le faire signer au président de la République. »
