Une vue de la cérémonie dans la ville de Ntoum.
L’initiative s’inscrit dans le cadre des relations de bon voisinage avec les riverains de la Zone d’Investissement Spéciale de Nkok, dans laquelle la filiale du groupe Arise, GSEZ, mène ses activités.
Le samedi 2 décembre dernier, à l’esplanade de la marie du 2e arrondissement de la commune de Ntoum, les représentants du groupe ARISE ont distribué aux populations environnantes, 1 000 kits scolaires, ainsi que 4 tonnes de viandes bovines (de la marque Viand’Or) issus de leur abattoir situé dans la Zone Economique Spéciale de Moundou au Tchad.
La cérémonie s’est tenue en présence des responsables du groupe ARISE, de la mairesse de ladite commune, Mme Anastasie BEKALE, du préfet du Komo-Mondah, Mme Annie Nicole MEFOUMANE épouse MBOUMBA KHASSA et de tous les auxiliaires de commandement de cette circonscription.
Madame Anastasie BEKALE a salué l’action du groupe ARISE à l’endroit des citoyens, « cette initiative s'inscrit dans le cadre des actions positives à caractère sociale, posées par l’entreprise dans cette localité depuis plusieurs années » disait-elle. Elle a également adressé ses sincères remerciements au groupe pour ce geste inestimable posé à quelques semaines de la fin de l'année. Elle a également saisi cette occasion pour solliciter la poursuite de telles actions.
Pour sa part, le Directeur pays du groupe ARISE, Monsieur Igor SIMARD, a exprimé la fierté du groupe de contribuer au développement de la commune. « C'est pourquoi nous avons estimé que nous devons aussi rendre ce que nous avions reçu gracieusement des populations qui ont bien voulu nous accueillir », a-t-il déclaré, avant de décliner la provenance des produits distribués.
« La viande que nous vous offrons revient du Tchad. Nous avons également une Zone Economique Spéciale dans ce pays où nous produisons de la viande bovine. Raison pour laquelle, nous souhaitions la faire découvrir aux populations de Libreville et de Ntoum en particulier ». Monsieur SIMARD a également informé de la disponibilité des produits Viand’Or dans les magasins de la Société Alimentaire de la Nomba (SANgel) et dans ceux de la Société d'Importation de Produits Alimentaires surgelés (Sipagel).
Prenant la parole à son tour, Madame le préfet, Annie Nicole MEFOUMANE épouse MBOUMBA KHASSA représentant le gouverneur de la province l'Estuaire a, dans un premier temps, exprimée son plaisir de présider cet événement de distribution de viande et de fournitures scolaires aux populations du 2e arrondissement de la Commune de Ntoum. Elle a, par la suite, saluée ce geste de solidarité du groupe ARISE à l'endroit des populations. « Il participe à la volonté des autorités de la Transition, en têtes desquelles, le Président de la Transition, le Général Brice Clotaire OLIGUI NGUEMA, d’œuvrer pour le bien-être de tous les gabonais », a-t-elle déclaré.
Madame le Préfet n’a pas manqué d’évoquer un certain nombre de préoccupations sociales et économiques qui prévalent dans cette localité administrative, « Le département du Komo-Mondah et son chef-lieu, la Commune de Ntoum, connaissent en effet de nombreuses difficultés dans des domaines divers. M. le Directeur Général, vous avez ouï-dire, je suppose, qu'il y a eu des inondations depuis l'arrivée des pluies. Les populations sont sinistrées. Beaucoup d’entre-elles sont victimes d’inondations ».
A cette liste non exhaustive, s’ajoutent également la formation, le chômage des jeunes et le manque d’autonomisation des jeunes-filles mères. Madame le préfet a enfin invité les responsables du groupe ARISE à s’impliquer davantage aux côtés des autorités locales et à continuer cet élan de solidarité.
