La HAC procède à la fermeture de la radio Mulamba.
Elle avait, lors d’un précédent communiqué, prévenu de potentielles sanctions au cas où les médias concernés ne se conformaient pas. De la parole à l’acte, il n’y a qu’un pas que la Haute autorité de la communication (HAC) n’a pas hésité à franchir. Dans un communiqué en date du 12 février dernier, l’autorité en charge de réguler les activités des médias au Gabon a décidé de la fermeture de la radio confessionnelle « Mulamba ».
Il est reproché à la radio émettant sur la fréquence 89.3 FM d’avoir diffusé des « contenus potentiellement dangereux par la radio notamment des prétendues, des consultations et voyances spirituelles en direct, ainsi que la désignation publique de supposés responsables des maladies des auditeurs. », renseignent nos confrères de l’Agence gabonaise de presse (AGP).
« Lors de la séance plénière ordinaire présidé par le président de la HAC, Germain Ngoyo Moussavou, l’audition du pasteur Serge Mulamba Nkashama, directeur général de la radio, a révélé «l’absence de documents administratifs et juridiques nécessaires pour l’exploitation de la radio en République gabonaise. De plus, il a été établi que la fréquence utilisée par Mulamba est exploitée frauduleusement, constituant un acte de piratage audiovisuel », a fait savoir l’Institution.
En conséquence, la HAC a décidé la fermeture de la radio jusqu’à la régularisation de sa situation administrative et juridique. Elle met également en garde toutes les stations de radio et autres médias audiovisuels en non-conformité de cesser immédiatement leurs émissions et de se conformer aux règles en vigueur.
