Le président de la Transition procède à la nomination des membres de son cabinet.
Dix jours après sa prise de pouvoir, le président de la Transition, le Général de brigade Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema a procédé aux premières nominations au sein de son cabinet et à la tête de l’administration de la première institution du pays. Comme il fallait s’ y attendre, l’ex Commandant en chef de la Garde Républicaine a évincé la quasi totalité des hommes et femmes qui composaient le cabinet du président déchu, Ali Bongo Ondimba. Seul, le directeur du protocole, François Epouta a pu conserver son poste.
Yves Teale n’a pas eu cette chance. Bien que présent lors des premières rencontres et audiences données par le nouveau Chef d’Etat, le désormais ex Secrétaire général à la présidence de la République a été prié de faire ses bagages pour céder son fauteuil à un habitué de la maison, le Pr Guy Rossatanga-Rignault. Ce professeur de droit public et spécialiste de sociologie politique gabonais né le 11 mars 1963 à Lambaréné récupère un poste qu’il a occupé en 2016.
C’est aussi, en quelque sorte, un retour dans la grande maison pour Telesphore Obame Ngomo à qui échoit la communication présidentielle. Ce brillant journaliste, membre de la Cellule communication au premier mandat d’Ali Bongo, devient le conseiller spécial, chef du département communication en plus d’être désormais le porte-parole de la présidence de la Transition. Comme directeur de cabinet, c’est le très discret Arthur Lemami qui a été choisi par le Chef de l’Etat. Il sera secondé, en tant que directeur de cabinet adjoint, par Léon Philipe Augé, enseignant au département de droit privé à l’Université Omar Bongo. L’ex directrice générale chez Bloom Gabon, Victorine Tchicot prend, quant à elle, la tête du cabinet privé d’ Oligui Nguema. Le lieutenant colonel Macaire Nembe devient lui, le chef de cabinet du patron de la transition.
A la tête du département juridique de la présidence de la République, c’est désormais Jacques Lebama. Magistrat de formation, il a été membre de la cour constitutionnelle. L’ex ministre du Travail et ancien directeur général de la GOC, Arnaud Calixte Engandji devient le chef du département mines, hydrocarbures et énergie. A l’économie et aux finances c’est Joseph Moudziegou qui a été désigné comme chef de département. Serge Ditengou, l’ex directeur général des Travaux publics, prend la tête du département éponyme au Palais du bord de mer. A l’éducation nationale et à la formation professionnelle, c’est Jean Bekalé Eyene. Il s’agit d’un spécialiste du système éducatif gabonais qui occupé le poste de directeur général au ministère de l’Education nationale. Pédagogue, administrateur réformateur et écrivain gabonais, Jean Eyene Bekale est l’auteur d’un ouvrage intitulé « Pour notre école et si on essayait autre chose. »
Le Département sport, jeunesse et culture va être piloté par Stephane Landri Zeng Eyidanga. Connu pour son activiste dans les réseaux sociaux et son combat contre le régime Bongo/PDG, Stéphane Zeng est d’abord un spécialiste en informatique qui a travaillé en tant que Consultant AZURE chez MP (France).
On note en outre, dans le lot des conseillers du président de la Transition, l’entrée de Nathalie Zemo Effoua. Membre de la société civile, en 2016 elle a été très active au sein de la Coalition qui a soutenue Jean Ping.
