A l'heure où vous prêtez serment pour la prise effective de votre fonction en tant que Président de la Transition du Gabon (CTRI), je me permets de vous adresser ces mots empreints d'émotion et d'engagement. Je m'appelle Christine BAGUELA, épouse SORO, je suis une citoyenne gabonaise, profondément attachée à notre belle Patrie.
Je suis consciente des défis immenses auxquels notre pays fait face et je tiens à exprimer ma reconnaissance la plus profonde pour votre courage et votre détermination qui ont permis d’introduire le Gabon dans une nouvelle ère, qui je crois, sera empreinte de justice, d’équité, de bonheur et d’épanouissement pour le peuple gabonais. Comme plusieurs de mes compatriotes, j'avais perdu espoir en mon pays le Gabon et m'étais réfugiée en Côte d'Ivoire avec toute ma famille, pour espérer trouver de meilleures conditions de vie.
Votre acte héroïque, Monsieur le Président, vous inscrit désormais dans l'histoire des grands héros de l'Afrique et pour cela, je vous rends hommage du fond du cœur. En tant que femme, épouse, mère et entrepreneure engagée dans la promotion du Digital au Gabon, je ressens profondément les défis que notre nation doit relever, en particuliers ceux de l'autonomisation des femmes et du développement du secteur numérique. J'ai consacré la majeure partie de ma vie à ces causes, tenant cette passion de ma défunte mère, étant elle-même entrepreneur dans l’informatique. En tant que co-fondatrice d'une agence conseil en stratégies digitales, d'une ONG qui accompagne les femmes dans leur transformation personnelle et de la Digie Women School, la première école gabonaise des métiers du numérique dédiée aux femmes, j'ai vu de nombreuses vies être transformées par le pouvoir de la formation et de l’accompagnement de vie. Cependant, j’ai ressenti la frustration de ne pas avoir pu faire davantage, faute de soutien adéquat. Lors de mes rencontres avec certaines personnalités du pays, j'avais des projets qui
incluaient la promotion du Numérique auprès des femmes gabonaises, surtout de celles qui sont en situation de pauvreté; malheureusement, malgré mes efforts et mes quelques actions sur fonds propres, ces projets sont restés sans suite.
Aujourd'hui, je vois en vous, Monsieur le Président de la Transition du Gabon, Monsieur Brice Clotaire OLIGUI, une lueur d'espoir pour la réalisation de ces projets qui je sais, seront d’un apport bénéfique pour la femme au Gabon. Vous avez déjà pris des mesures significatives pour améliorer les conditions de vie des gabonais et je vous en félicite, cependant j’aimerais mettre sur votre table la cause de la femme gabonaise victime de tellement de fléaux et de discrimination. Je suis profondément convaincue que la promotion de la femme et le développement du secteur numérique sont des leviers essentiels pour le progrès de notre nation. J’ai en ma possession des projets dans ce sens que j’aimerais vous partager si l’occasion m’en est donnée.
